Scott Mann MP visits Highgate

On November 4th, Scott Mann, MP for North Cornwall visited Highgate. He met with Vicky Skelton, Head Teacher and Julie Smith, Chair of Governors, to hear about the educational offer and philosophy at our school, before having a tour of the facilities.

Scott was very impressed and said that he thinks what we are doing here is ‘fantastic, much needed in the area and completely in line with the Government’s agenda for education.’ It is really important to us here at Highgate that we are members of our local community, so it was great to hear that we have Scott's full support!
