First Highgate Hill House School leavers given send-off they deserve

The first year 11 pupils to complete their studies at Highgate Hill House School, enjoyed a celebratory send-off with fellow pupils and parents recently, complete with barbecue and delicious cake.

Daisy and Robbie, who both started with the school back in 2018, have successfully completed a range of Functional Skills qualifications, plus BTECs in Hair & Beauty and Care of Farm Animals respectively. Daisy is going to continue her education with Lakefield Equestrian Centre in Camelford, and Robbie is going into full-time employment.

Headteacher Vicky Percival, said: “We are very proud of what both Daisy and Robbie have achieved in their time with us. We strive to ensure that our pupils go on to be happy and successful in life, so preparing them for life beyond school is just as important as their academic achievements”.

Sir Peter Birkett, School Founder, added: “Both Daisy and Robbie flourished during their time at Highgate, enjoying various outdoor learning opportunities along the way. One of our core principles as a school is to ensure that all students leave us ready for the next stage of education, training or work, and go on to enjoy and achieve. We wish them both the best of luck for the future”.
